The Friends of the Burma Star Association held their annual VJ Day Service of Remembrance at their memorial at 1830 on 15 June.  Members of the Branch and club supported this important event with out Standard paraded by John Farlie, the bugle calls were sounded by Mick Scurfield and the Branch wreath was laid by Tracie Thomas.  The service was conducted by club member Malcolm Gibbons RBL with the Reverend John Lines MBE leading the service.
